He has since graduated after a 4-year intensive program as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

As a chiropractic student, Dr. Miguel worked directly with practicing chiropractors to deliver the highest quality patient care. As an intern, he also mentored underclassmen by teaching classes in chiropractic technique, biomechanics, and neurology. As a chiropractic intern, he did a rigorous preceptorship program in the south side of Chicago. While there Dr. Miguel provided chiropractic services to a community that has no other access to chiropractic care.
